On November 22, 1963 it was a warm day in Dallas. The crowd had huge smiles waiting to see John F. Kennedy. Kennedy and his wife drove down in their limousine waving and smiling towards the crowd.

Kennedy and his wife got a nice and warm welcome from the people of Dallas Texas. When everybody least expected... Shots fried. A man named Lee Harvey Oswald shot him in the head from the top of The Texas School Book Depository. He was rushed to the Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died soon after he got there. He was severely wounded. The governor was also severely wounded, he was able to recover.

Less than an hour after Kennedy was shot the police found Lee Harvey Oswald and arrested him, he was recently hired at the Texas School Book Depository. Soon after Oswald shot Kennedy he also shot and killed Patrolman Tippit.

On Sunday Morning, November 24, Oswald sentenced to be transferred from the police headquarters to the county jail. While many people across America were watching it on live tv suddenly a man pointed a pistol to Oswald and killed him. The person that shot Oswald was identified to be Jack Ruby, a local nightclub owner. Oswald had died just two hours later at the  Parkland hospital.

Monday, November 25, 1963, president Kennedy was buried in Arlington national cemetery. About 25,000 people went to pay their full respect. The Casket was moved from the White house to the capitol on six gray horses and one riderless black horse.
